About the Role
JPMorgan Chase is hiring for the position of Analyst – Data Management Controllers. In this role, you will play a critical part in defining, refining, and delivering financial strategies that support our global business operations.
You will work closely with Asset Class Controllers and cross-functional teams to ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of risk, liquidity, and finance data, while driving continuous improvements in processes and controls.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Required Skills & Capabilities
- Strong desktop/spreadsheet/database skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of securities and derivatives products
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex financial systems
- Ability to build partnerships across Finance, Risk, Capital, and Treasury teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Aptitude for identifying and addressing control issues
- Familiarity with tools like Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path, and other data transformation/visualization products (added advantage)
- Experience in data flow analysis and process improvements
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze data quality for Liquidity, Credit, and Finance data stores
- Support daily, monthly, and adjustment processes for multiple data systems (FRW, CFW, DAC, AWS)
- Perform data analytics to identify trends, issues, and process gaps
- Track and report metrics on data timeliness, completeness, and accuracy
- Collaborate with technology, operations, and reporting teams to resolve issues
- Escalate unresolved issues to management when required
- Drive continuous process enhancements to eliminate manual workarounds
- Communicate effectively with Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure seamless data flow
