Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or related field (by Summer 2026) OR equivalent work experience
- Programming Skills: Familiarity with Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, or Go (experience through internships, side projects, or coursework)
- Experience collaborating on multi-person coding projects in university or professional settings
- Ability to learn new systems quickly through research, mentorship, and exploration
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of frontend technologies and HTTP request lifecycle
- Familiarity with code review practices and updating production systems safely
- Experience working with large codebases
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work on cross-functional projects, collaborating with engineers across teams
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Ensure team-operated systems are reliable and scalable
- Own projects end-to-end, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance
- Contribute to open-source software and launch prototypes early to ensure user-focused development
