🎓 Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: Quantitative background from a top-tier school
- Preferred Certifications: CFA or similar (added advantage)
- Essential Skills:
- Basic knowledge of credit instruments, risk factors, and pricing
- Understanding of financial products and markets
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proactive and self-motivated approach with ability to multitask
🛠 Key Responsibilities
✅ Trading Desk Support:
- Assist US and EU financing desks with single-asset financing and asset-backed lending (ABL) transactions
- Manage margin calls, interest payments, hedges, and exposure calculations
- Support repo/TRS trades (collateral funding, financing, trigger events)
✅ Credit Analysis & Research:
- Monitor credit performance of obligors using proprietary tools (including Barclays CoPilot AI)
- Track market data, industry trends, and company news for actionable insights
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast company performance
- Develop trade ideas and provide recommendations to traders
✅ Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare business-critical MIS reports, presentations, and documentation
- Maintain databases and trading blotters accurately
- Participate in earnings calls and summarize key updates for the trading desk
