🧠 About the Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, test, and deploy applications supporting critical manufacturing and engineering operations. You’ll be working with cutting-edge technologies like Spring Boot, Angular, Docker, and AWS, ensuring scalability and high performance.
You will also collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to deliver predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions that drive innovation within GlobalFoundries’ global semiconductor operations.
⚙️ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience
(or Master’s with 1+ year experience) - Solid programming skills in Java / J2EE
- Proficiency in: Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift)
- Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Docker, and AWS ECS / EC2
- Familiar with CI/CD tools like GIT, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins
- Strong understanding of relational database design
- Analytical mindset and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
⭐ Preferred Skills
- Cloud development experience (AWS preferred)
- Experience designing RESTful services using JSON
- Exposure to R, Python, or semiconductor data models (added advantage)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications for fab operations.
- Collaborate with data scientists and manufacturing teams to build data-driven solutions.
- Deploy scalable applications using Docker containers on AWS.
- Support day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Work with cross-functional teams including developers, DBAs, and engineers.
