About the Role:
United Airlines is hiring an Analyst – Business Intelligence to support Tech Ops. You will work on data design, analysis, KPI creation, dashboards, and automation to provide actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, flight completion rates, and on-time performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design meaningful operational metrics to inform decisions.
- Create high-quality dashboards and reports for leadership and front-line teams.
- Curate tables/views as the single source of truth for Tech Ops data.
- Collaborate with business groups to design data-driven solutions.
- Automate manual reports and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Document Tech Ops data landscape and optimize report inventory.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in analytics or reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, or similar technologies.
- Expertise in data visualization tools: Spotfire, Tableau, ggplot2, etc.
- Experience with JavaScript, D3, HTML, CSS, or front-end development.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Airline experience or understanding of airline operations.
- Familiarity with the full data ecosystem (acquisition, engineering, storage, management, analysis, visualization, deployment).
- Exposure to statistical and analytical methods.
