Eligibility & Education

- Experience:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in tax, finance, or any analytical field
- Experience defining requirements & using data/metrics to draw insights
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL or ETL
- Experience with very large datasets
- Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with Tableau (or any data visualization tool)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Job Description
As a Business Analyst, you will:
- Model complex problems and extract actionable insights using BI, data mining & visualization techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create operational efficiencies
- Communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Work in Amazon’s Buyer Risk Prevention (BRP) team to detect risks, prevent abuse, and protect customer trust.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Use analytics & data mining to solve complex problems and guide business decisions
- Discover patterns of risk/abuse and reduce bad debt
- Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models for BRP optimization
- Build analyses for new product launches
- Create dashboards & visualizations to identify trends & anomalies
- Collaborate closely with business, engineering, and partner teams
