π Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years experience in project management, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- 2+ years experience in data analysis (identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing actionable insights)
π― Preferred Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in a quantitative discipline
- 2+ years of experience with SQL, R, Python, or C++
- Experience working with machine learning systems
- Ability to identify workflow pain points, optimize, automate, and scale processes
- Strong problem-solving & critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
π Key Responsibilities
- Promote user trust & safety by managing and mitigating payment fraud & abuse across Google products
- Investigate fraud & abuse incidents, identify patterns, and generate risk management solutions
- Perform statistical analysis using payments & risk data warehouses
- Collaborate with Engineering & Product teams to build tools, improve system functionality, and enhance efficiency
- Assess product risk, design, and implement fraud mitigation strategies
- Participate in on-call rotations for priority escalations, including weekends/holidays

Googleβs Trust & Safety team is responsible for protecting users, partners, and the companyβs integrity across products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Ads.
Youβll collaborate globally with engineers and product managers to detect and fight abuse and fraud at scale β ensuring a safe and secure payments environment for all users.
