Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• OR 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Programming: Java, Node.js (mandatory); Scala, Python, Golang (preferred)
• Frontend: Familiarity with React, Angular (advantageous)
• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, serverless architecture
• Databases: Experience with at least one NoSQL database (DynamoDB, Cassandra)
• Networking & Systems: DNS, networking, virtualization, Linux OS
• APIs & Microservices: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture
• Tools: ServiceNow, Jira, Jenkins, Splunk, New Relic, SignalFX
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Work On)

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime
• Implement real-time monitoring solutions for system health & KPIs
• Communicate technical issues and impacts effectively across teams
• Report metrics and insights to leadership, demonstrating business impact
• Manage IT service processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management)
• Collaborate with business & technical teams to troubleshoot and optimize performance
• Lead initiatives to enhance application reliability for web & mobile platforms
• Promote knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement culture
