🧠 Required Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Exposure to business analysis, metrics tracking, and revenue monitoring tools
- Experience in MIS functions requiring independent data analysis
- Financial modeling and operations analysis experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of running MapReduce jobs in Hive databases
- Proficiency in SQL / MySQL and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Advanced Excel / Access skills – including VB Macros, VBA programming, and Pivot Tables
- Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker preferred)
- Knowledge of Hive Database, Data Analytics tools, and scripting languages like Python, HTML, PHP, or JavaScript
- Excellent communication, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for data automation and coding tasks

🎯 Role Overview:
PubMatic is seeking a sharp and analytical Data Analyst to join its Finance Reporting & Insights team.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about turning large datasets into meaningful business insights and supporting global finance and operations teams.
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze large data sets using Excel, Access, SQL, and Hive
- Design and maintain dashboards and BI visualizations
- Retrieve and process data from publishers, ad networks, and aggregators
- Develop Excel macros and automation tools for data filtering and reporting
- Collaborate with the Pune Billing Team to prepare monthly publisher statements
- Assist in productivity tool development and revenue yield analysis
- Focus on key business metrics and communicate insights effectively

- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
